Kyle Busch won the 5-Hour Energy 301 from New
Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
The win was Busch’s third of the season, and it helped
move him closer to the top 30 in points and a Chase berth. Busch, now just 58 points behind 30th place,
said the possibility of making the Chase is getting more real every week.

“This is such an awesome win, such an awesome
comeback,” Busch said. “Every week it’s
been getting better and better. It’s
certainly the right thing to do to win races and to gather these points.”
During the race Busch found himself a lap down after
he pitted for what he thought was a flat tire, but he raced his way back onto
the lead lap before a caution came out on lap 250. Busch said that passing Kevin Harvick to get
his lap back was the pass that got him to victory lane.
“I just drove as hard as I could when I got off pit
road, and I knew I needed to get those guys,” Busch said. “The 4 [of Harvick] and the 2 [of Brad
Keselowski] were the class of the field today.
I felt like our car was a close third.”
“Just winning these things, it’s just spectacular.”
