Austin Dillon and Rheem Manufacturing Company have teamed up to participate in the 2015 XFINITY Series season, Richard Childress Racing announced Monday.

Dillon will return to the XFINITY Series in the No. 33 Chevrolet. Dillon won the series championship in 2013, but hasn't won a race in the series since Kentucky in June 2012. Dillon finished seventh at Texas this fall, his only race run in the series this year.
Dillon made it clear that, without points on the line, he would be looking to return to victory lane.
"I enjoy racing in the XFINITY Series and will be proud to represent Rheem while contending for wins on Saturday afternoons in 2015," Dillon said in a release.
Richard Childress Racing did not announce how many races Dillon would run in 2015, but the release stated that the partnership was for a "majority" of the season.
Dillon will continue to run the No. 3 car in the Sprint Cup Series in 2015. Dillon finished 20th in points in his rookie Sprint Cup season and completed 99.5% of laps run in 2014, the most of any rookie in history.
