Be sure to pick up...

Edge of Spider-Verse #2
This issue features an alternate universe where Gwen Stacy is not only alive, but she's Spider-Man (woman?)! I'm pretty excited for this mini-series to wrap up though, because that means the Spider-Verse is here!

Superior Spider-Man #33
The last issue of this series was also an Edge of Spider-Verse tie-in, and it was pretty epic.  It takes place during the time Spider-Man was gone following that portal opening (that allowed Spider-Man 2099 to join our time).  He was going through time and collecting multiple Spider-Men, so this issue should be pretty fun.

Brad Keselowski Wins Chase Opener

Keselowski led 61 laps throughout the day, but he made a daring 3-wide pass for the lead just 10 laps from the finish to win the race.

“I saw Kyle [Larson] and Kevin [Harvick] racing really hard and aggressively side-drafting,” Keselowski said.  “I just waited and the car stuck and everything just came together.”

Keselowski had to start in the back of the pack, and many people did not think he could win from deep in the field.  Keselowski said he knew his team could get him to the front.

“When you start in the back, a lot of people don’t think you can win.  We had a great car, and the whole No. 2 team did a great job.”

With the win, Keselowski clinched a spot in the second round of the Chase.

Kyle Busch started on pole after qualifying was rained out on Friday, and he raced early with Jeff Gordon and Jamie McMurray.

McMurray looked strong throughout the first 100 laps, but after losing the lead he made contact with the wall and faded late in the race.

Rookie Kyle Larson took the lead on a late-race restart, and he raced side-by-side with Kevin Harvick for the lead.  While the two were racing hard, Keselowski shot through the middle to make a 3-wide pass for the lead.

Keselowski was running away from the field when the final caution of the day came out with 10 laps to go.

Keselowski and Larson raced side-by-side for the lead on the following restart, but Larson made contact with the wall and that ended his fight for the lead.

Keselowski was able to run away from the field over the final five laps, and he took his car to victory lane for the fifth time this season.

Doctor Who: The 11th Doctor #2
The first issue of this series was fantastic, and just like the first issue of the Tenth Doctor, it perfectly captured the magic of Matt Smith's era as the Doctor.  It should be extremely fun, and I'm pretty excited to read this issue.

Edge of Spider-Verse #1
The start of the Spider-Verse begins here!  It all began with the issue of Superior Spider-Man that came out a few weeks ago, and it continues with this issue.  This should be a fun mini-series starring my favorite character!

Brad Keselowski Dominates in Richmond

Originally written for CLNS Radio.

Keselowski was dominant in the race, starting from the pole and leading 383 of 400 laps.  He never fell lower than second throughout the entire race.  Keselowski said his car was so perfect he thought he was dreaming.

“It was just flying,” Keselowski said.  “We want to run for another cup.”

Keselowski won the 2012 Sprint Cup Championship, but failed to make the Chase last year.  He said his team seems poised to win the title this year following last year’s disappointment.

“I think last year was a kick in the butt…enough to push us all and push us to another level.  We didn’t progress enough last year and this year we really upped our game.”

Keselowski started the race on the pole, and he only gave up the lead to Kevin Harvick twice in the first half of the race.  But following a caution for debris on lap 125, Keselowski took the lead and led the final 275 laps on his way to the victory.

The race was slowed with 70 laps to go for a very unusual reason – a fan had climbed on top of the catchfence in Turn 4.  NASCAR had to throw a caution so that security could get the fan off the fence for his safety.
